No longer AFK

Well..it HAS been a long time, hasn't it?
I've been up to a lot lately, mainly, packing and unpacking, only to feel the urge to move again, so more packing!
Let us see if I can give you a quick rundown of what has been going on since last time I was here..it's been over a
year, so this might not be as 'short and sweet' as I was hoping! haha!

Maybe it will be easier, quicker and more fun to do my year in pictures? Let's see...

Bought a new camera-Nikon D3000!
It takes the most beautiful pictures, of the most wonderful things. Possibly my most favourite purchase thus far!

This is Belle, she is a dog. She belonged to our Aunty Mary, but unfortunately she passed on this year, and left her pooch behind, Belle now lives with Colin (my brother's dad).

This is my little brother, he turned 8 this year! I love him more than anything else in this world. He's grown up a lot in this last year, he's a real young man now!

We went to London in Febuary..it was all a lot of fun for the first day, we'd planned to do the Monopoly board..we did quite well, and had planned to finish it the next day. Unfortunately, we made a poor decision to eat Chinese food in Soho, and it all went downhill from there (for me at least!) Rather than spending 2 days and 1 night like we'd planned, we ended up staying nearly a week as I had food poisoning, my mum and brother (pictured) spent time sightseeing and finishing the board, while I lay in bed feeling rotten. Luckily, I'd taken enough time off work to cover my period of sickness, but it would have been nice if I could have spent the time enjoying myself!

Back in Cardiff, and everything is just the way we left it. March was fairly uneventful, but in April I moved house! I found a lovely apartment, right on the High Street, out of my bedroom window, I can see the Cardiff Castle, and out of my kitchen window, I can see the Castle and the Millennium Stadium! The apartment is lovely, and HUGE! I share with 3 guys, but they are all lovely.
Not long after moving, I was invited to my cousins wedding (Congrats Grem & Kerry!). I was really nervous to see my father's side of the family, as I'd not seen them all for a really long time! After weeks of searching, I finally found a nice dress to wear, although, I'm pretty sure that it had shrunk in the wash! This is a picture of my big brother and sister at the wedding, we're all grown up now! I think the last time we were all together must have been when I was very little, as I don't have memories of it myself. The wedding was gorgeous, seeing everyone was fantastic, and it's always lovely to meet new people.

This is my greatest friend and I after a night out on the razz last week. We started a business together a month or two ago, 'Bisous Events', which isn't really doing much at the moment, but we have had a lot on our plates recently, hopefully sometime soon, we can get it up and running again.
She lives in the apartment below ours and we hardly ever let a day go by without seeing one another! I don't quite know how she does it, but she puts up with all my quirks..my face making, my bad impressions, my AWFUL singing and my stupid jokes.. we get along famously, and we have decided to move together at the end of September/ beginning of October..to BRISTOL!
I've not been enjoying my job as much recently, the hours are not consistent, the customers are tiresome- as are the staff. I don't feel happy staying there for much longer and have handed in my resignation, I've been searching for jobs for the last few weeks, but have found nothing yet. I've been invited for a couple of interviews, but only for door-to-door sales work and the like, which I wouldn't mind doing if they came with a wage.. but sadly they are all commission only, and with a sales pitch like mine, it'd be a sad day when pay-day comes!

Well...I think that is pretty much my year summed up, excluding christmas, new year, my promotion, birthdays and anniversaries..but I don't have pictures for those, so you'll just have to use you're imagination!

Until next time.
